Getting Started

Is it free to browse and search properties?

Yes. Searching, viewing listings, and contacting agents is completely free for buyers and renters. No account is required to browse, though creating one lets you save favorites and track inquiries.

Do I need an account to contact an agent?

No — you can reach out to any agent directly from a property page without registering. Creating a free account just makes it easier to keep track of properties you've saved and inquiries you've sent.

Which areas of Nigeria does AAARealEstate.ng cover?

Listings are open to agents across all Nigerian states. Coverage naturally grows where agents are most active, so availability varies by state and city.

For Buyers & Renters

How do I know a listing or agent is legitimate?

Look for the Verified badge on an agent's profile — it means our team has reviewed their CAC registration or valid ID. That said, verification confirms identity, not the outcome of any individual transaction, so always do your own due diligence before sending money or signing anything (see the safety tips below).

Can I trust every listing on the site?

Every listing goes through admin review before it goes live, which filters out obviously fake or duplicate posts. AAARealEstate.ng is a listing platform, not a party to any transaction, so the same care you'd use with any property deal still applies — see "Safety & Trust" below.

How do I contact an agent about a property?

Every property page has an inquiry form and the agent's contact details. Submitting an inquiry notifies the agent directly by email so they can follow up with you.

Can I save properties to look at later?

Yes — tap the heart icon on any listing to add it to your favorites. You'll need a free account for this, and saved properties appear in your account dashboard.

For Agents

How do I get the Verified Agent badge?

Register as an agent, then upload your CAC certificate or a valid ID on your Agency Profile page. Our team manually reviews submissions — this isn't instant, but it's what makes the badge mean something to buyers.

How long does listing approval take?

New and edited listings go into a review queue before appearing publicly. Most are reviewed promptly; if a listing is rejected, you'll get an email with the specific reason so you can fix and resubmit it.

What happens to my listing if it isn't renewed?

Listings automatically expire after a set number of days to keep search results current. You'll get a reminder email before expiry, and can renew from My Listings to reset the clock.

Can I feature or boost a specific listing?

Yes — the Boost Listing option lets you pay to feature an individual property for a set number of days, separate from your regular subscription plan. See Pricing for current plan details.

Safety & Trust

What are the most common property scam patterns to watch for?

Be cautious of anyone pressuring you to pay before a physical viewing, refusing to meet in person or show original documents, offering a price far below market rate "to move fast," or asking for payment via untraceable methods. A legitimate agent will not object to reasonable verification steps.

Should I pay any money before viewing a property in person?

No. Never send money — deposits, "agency fees," or otherwise — before you've physically viewed the property and verified the agent's identity and the property's documents (e.g. Certificate of Occupancy, Deed of Assignment) with a lawyer where appropriate.

Is AAARealEstate.ng involved in the actual sale or rental transaction?

No. We're a listing platform that connects buyers/renters with agents — we're not a party to any transaction, and agents are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings under our Terms of Service. Always independently verify ownership and documentation before paying anything.

How do I report a suspicious listing or agent?

Use the "Report a Listing or Agent" option on our Contact page with a link to the listing or profile in question. Our team reviews reports and can suspend accounts or remove listings that violate our terms.

Payments & Fees

Does AAARealEstate.ng charge buyers or renters anything?

No — the platform is entirely free for buyers and renters. Any fees relating to an actual property transaction (agency fees, legal fees, etc.) are between you and the agent, outside of this platform.

How do agent subscriptions work?

Agents choose a subscription plan that sets how many active listings and featured slots they get. Plans are billed on a recurring basis via Paystack — see the Pricing page for current tiers.

Is payment on the platform secure?

All agent subscription and listing-boost payments are processed through Paystack, a licensed Nigerian payment processor — we never see or store your card details directly.
